Jim Ross

Owner and Managing Director

47 years in the industry with 30 of those years in the Cayman Islands.

After 47 years in the Industry Jim holds many certifications and qualifications in Plumbing and Fire Protection. Jim started in the industry with a part time job after high school. Each day he would travel to the Ship Yards in Tampa Florida to keenly learn his trade. He soon moved into the Commercial Pipe Fitting, working on chilled water systems and medical and specialty gas systems. In 1991 Jim came to the Cayman Islands as a Plumber and Fire Protection Specialist. Later Jim Managed the successful operation of BPC Plumbing and Fire Protection Contracts.

Eddie Armstrong

Plumbing Field Supervisor and Master Plumber

36 years in the industry with 19 years working with Jim Ross

Eddie comes from a long line of Plumbers in his family and started out at a very young age by going to work with his father in North Florida where he grew up. After completing a 4 year apprenticeship program in Florida Eddie worked in the US prior to coming to the Cayman Islands about 19 years ago and has been working with Jim Ross ever since. Since coming to the Cayman Islands Eddie has focused on maintain good relationships with some of the industry leaders and maintaining his knowledge and training around the following areas:

23 years in the industry with 22 of those years working directly with Jim Ross

Starting out his career working for Fred McGilvray Inc. in Miami USA he was contracted to do some work here in the Cayman Islands with one of the large Hotels that was being built, this is where he met Jim Ross and the rest is history. Lutchman started out by attending courses at the Ansul Fire School in Wisconsin, Kidde Fenwal School in Boston and the Fire Pump School in Ohio. Not only does Lutchman hold qualifications in Fire Protection but also in Propane maintenance and installation. Lutchman’s drive to keep himself at a high level of understanding has him going back to school constantly to maintain his knowledge and keep up with industry standards.
